Losing teeth can mean you are unable to chew food properly, your face and cheeks may look different due to the loss of support and structure your natural teeth provided and you may feel unhappy about your appearance. Manchester Dental Lab Ltd. can help you.

We offer a bespoke service to provide you with dentures which fit well, are comfortable and will look natural. Whilst we cannot replace your own teeth, you will feel confident and happy wearing our dentures. No-one but you should know you are wearing dentures.

If you still have some of your own teeth, we will need a prescription from a dentist, which you can bring with you when you come for your first consultation. Alternatively, we can provide a check up and prescription for you using our dedicated referral dentist who will also be able to provide you with any treatment you may need. We also offer home visits.

Our Dentures

Each denture made by Manchester Dental Lab Ltd. uses quality materials and we take our time time to ensure the most comfortable fit possible. We will consult with you carefully at each appointment selecting tooth shades, type of denture and trying the fit. Only when you are completely satisfied will we finish your denture.

Each denture we produce is unique and tailored to the patient’s requirements and your first consultation is free.

Soft Linings

These can be added to dentures to make them feel more comfortable. They provide a softer, more cushioned feel.

Chrome Dentures

This type of denture is a lightweight alloy rather than acrylic, is very strong and ideal for people with a heavy bite or who grind their teeth. This type of denture also allows for more of the roof of the mouth to be left open which reduces the loss of taste that can result from a larger palate.

Valplast Flexible Partial Dentures

Manchester Dental Lab Ltd. is an accredited producer of this type of denture which is made from a flexible material and fits around natural teeth. The majority of patients who opt for this type of denture say they are an excellent fit and denture fixative is never needed.

Implant Retained Denture

We work with a local dentist who is a well established and leading implantologist. We can refer you for implants to be fitted and we will then produce the denture to complete the process. Implant retained dentures are an extremely firm fit and ideal for people who have very small , narrow gums.

Teeth Whitening or Bleaching Trays

This can be provided upon prescription.

Gum Shields

We can provide you with a tailor made gum shield in any colour you ask for from plain to a Union Jack.

Immediate Dentures

If you require extractions and do not want to have to put up with a gap whilst you are waiting for a denture to be made, we can provide you with an immediate denture. An impression will be taken whilst your teeth are still in place, the teeth for extraction will be marked and the denture produced without these. This can be used immediately after the extraction. Immediate dentures would involve using our local dental referral service.

Suction Dentures

This is a a relatively new product. Please contact us for more information.

Emergency Dentures

We can provide dentures within 24 hours should you have a mishap with yours. We also work with local hospitals to provide replacement dentures quickly when these have been lost on a ward. In these cases we usually liaise with the hospital for payment.
